1. Look at everyone else's Get to Know You slide 2. Carefully review the material on Movie/TV Archetypes, including the instructional video and the attached resources. 3. (Graded) Get into groups of 1-3 people, decide on a topic, and then each person fills Question titled "Archetype Signup" that asks who they're working with and which Archetype they will do the project on. To be clear, you can work alone on this. If you want to work in groups, make sure that you will have common meeting times with the other people in your group. 4. Be prepared to answer emails from Mr. Plummer on your topic if it doesn't fit the requirements. 5. (Graded) Find the Plot Archetype Assignment in Google Classroom. ONLY ONE person from you group needs to turn it in, so choose the most reliable person to open theirs, share it out, and turn it in on Google Classroom before 4pm Friday. Follow the directions on each slide of the presentation. 6. Fill out the Google Form titled "Choose the Next Unit" Archetype: character type, storyline, or event that is notably recurrent across the human experience. In the arts, an archetype creates a sense of familiarity, allowing an audience member to easily comprehend an event or character. 1. Get into Google Classroom. The classroom code was emailed to you via Messenger on Infinite Campus. Email me with your class period if you have problems. 2. Watch the welcome video in Google Classroom and comment with what Mr. Plummer's catch phrase should be. 3. (Graded) Answer questions about you and post the dankest meme, funniest video, or generally best thing you've come across on the internet in the last two weeks. Must be school appropriate. |
